Wolfpak Leatherworks – Run with the Pak

Wolfpak Leatherworks is a firefighter owned company located in California. They can make just about anything out of leather and have amazed their customers with one off customs of specialty tool holders as well as their suspenders, flash light holders, radio straps, glove holders, chin straps, and belts. They have an entire apparel line that has gained popularity across the Globe…”Run with the Pak”.

Dan Estrada, owner of Wolfpak sent me a set of leather suspenders to review. He also threw in a complete set of glove straps for my crew. I went ahead and purchased leather suspenders for my Captain and Captain Wines as well. I just knew I would love these suspenders.

Up until this point in my career, I had worn the cheap-o suspenders that my department issues. Then I got a hold of the Black Helmet Overhaul Nylon Suspenders (product review coming soon).

The leather suspenders were a new frontier for me. I had heard about them, but I had never worn them. Let me tell you that I will probably never wear anything else. I have had them on my gear for several months now and they are worked in and comfortable. I admit, you have to get used to them at first. They are obviously made of harder material than the fabric suspenders. That is not really an issue though.

Now lets talk about the craftsmanship…wow. First off, Dan wouldn’t make the custom leather suspenders without making sure he knew EXACTLY what I wanted. That is customer service. Man did he knock it out of the park!

Not only do my suspenders have my name and department on them, they also have the initials of my children…I thought that little extra customization was awesome.

Make no bones about it, these suspenders (as well as everything else) is custom made from leather…he creates each custom product from scratch.

I was amazed at the craftsmanship, skill, care, and customer service that Wolfpak offered.
